I love Fridays

It's Friday and I have the entire weekend to look forward to. It's my favorite day of the week, even though I am at work. It's the anticipation of free time. Our granddaughters, Bella and Lola are coming over and spending the night. It's a busy but fun time. Gosh, they are so cute..they melt my heart. They love their 'Pops'. He 'rough houses' them and they love it. Lola screams 'no Pops!' and then she goes back for more. It's very hot today so we will probably stay indoors. I think Jason will join us for dinner after he gets off work.
These times are precious.....just a very quick, fleeting moment in time. If I could find a way to bottle the feeling I get when I spend time with them and drink from it whenever I need to; somehow hear the shear joy in their laughter when I need to.

It's so hot......

If you live in Tucson, you know how miserable it is now. We are in our monsoon season, with no rain; just humidity. I tell myself, it may as well be 14 below zero. I'm only going outside if I have to....or to swim.
Just booked a Caribbean cruise for January 2010. We have a 20% discount that has to be used by May, so we took advantage of it. We will visit a few places we haven't been before: Nassau, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Grand Turk. We'll go to Miami a few days early to enjoy New Years before we get on the ship. I'm always so excited to plan a new adventure!
Leaving work a few minutes early to get some stitches out at the Dermatologist. He took some suspicious cells out last week. My dad has 3 kinds of skin cancer, so I am very careful about getting checked.
Then going out to dinner with a business associate of Ken's.
