Sweet Summer Memories

The girls have been coming over almost every Friday night. We try to plan something different each time they come. We are going to go camping the weekend before Halloween to Usery Park in Mesa, AZ. I can't wait. We plan on going to a Pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins. Then we will carve them at the campsite and light them near the fire. The girls are so precious and give us so much joy. A few weeks ago, I bought some Halloween 'crackers'; the kind you buy at Christmas. I had no idea what would be inside them. The girls 'popped' them open and guess what we found?...whistles!! Bella decided to have races (with Pops). I would keep score and Lola and I would blow the whistles to start the race. Pops got worn out very quickly! I sent the whistles home with the girls....that's one of the benefits of being a grandparent. :)
