Good Things

Somehow Valentine's Day snuck up on me this year....which disappoints me. I like to make Valentine's cookies and deliver them to friends; mail out Valentines and I didn't do either. We didn't go out to dinner. We really like eating fine food and have found that when we cook at home, we like it better than going out. We buy good quality food and enjoy cooking. I bought filet Mignon. We grilled it medium rare and had steamed broccoli and twice stuffed baked potatoes. We shared New York style cheesecake and Red Velvet cake for dessert. Ken bought me beautiful red and white roses. It was very nice.
On Sunday morning, Ken made me a beautiful latte. He makes me a latte every morning but this one he added whipped cream and swirled a heart with honey on top.

Also that morning, Bella's poppies had beautiful blooms. The weather has finally gotten beautiful.
